Reynolds House Bed and Breakfast, 111 S. 7th Avenue, Sturgeon Bay, WI
Built by William Reynolds in 1900, this historic Queen Ann home offers you the charm and elegance of an age gone by.

The prominent Reynolds family was well known in Door County in the lumber trade and for their extensive cherry and apple orchards. The lumber used to build the house was cut in their own saw mill.  As orchard owners, they achieved high recognition as innovators in the canning industry.  The home played hostess to many an elegant affair as the Reynolds entertained their society friends.

After serving  the Reynolds family until the 1920's, two families - the VanNattas and Nebels - lived in the house for the next 43 years.  They preserved much of the fine architectural detail and ornamental woodwork found throughout the residence.

The house changed ownership several times over the next decade.  She suffered from neglect and fell into disrepair as multiple anonymous residents left their mark.

In 1989, the Reynolds House was lovingly restored and rennovated by Jan and Stan Sekula, who turned the home into a Bed and Breakfast.  The present owner, Heather Hull, bought the Bed and Breakfast in 2003, continuing the long tradition of hospitality started by the Reynolds.
